alpha bravo charlie

I made a concerted effort to learn the Air Force alphabet (you know, alpha, bravo, charlie, delta, echo, foxtrot, golf...i could go all the way to zulu) so that when I am on phone calls with people and I have to spell something out, I can use the right terminology.

For example, instead of saying "'C' as in uhh 'car', 'A' as in 'apple', 'I' as in 'Ice'" I can be all.. "Charlie, Alpha, India, Tango, Lima, India, November." BAM!

    I always spell my last name with V as in Victor. Will you tell me the real deal?
